Full course description

General Program Information

What does improvisation look like in your music program? Does everyone participate equally? Is it hard to convince some students to try? Do you wish that you had more time to include more components of improvisation during your rehearsals? If you teach something other than jazz ensemble, do you struggle to find ways to include improvisation, even though the standards specify that you are required to do so? Improvisation In The Performing Arts is your solution to all of that!
