General Program Information
All Uplevel U: Music courses are online, asynchronous, on-demand, include private, moderated discussion groups and issue certificates upon completion. Empower yourself with the Growth Mindset for Music Teachers program! This self-paced course is designed to cultivate a positive mindset, enhance teaching skills, and foster professional growth. Through interactive modules and engaging activities, participants will learn how to embrace challenges, persist in the face of setbacks, and develop a growth-oriented approach to your music program through your teaching and communication. From overcoming self-limiting beliefs to promoting student resilience, this program equips music teachers with the tools and strategies to inspire a growth mindset in themselves and their students. Objectives
Course Objectives: - Have a foolproof understanding of what growth mindset is and exactly what it isn't - Thoroughly examine your inner well-being to see where to focus your thoughts - Let our prompt activities personalize your experience to develop tools and solutions to absorb growth mindset in your home life and in your teaching -Develop communication and teaching prompts to use with your students in many different types of situations so that you can be confident that your are establishing the highest form of rapport, trust and mutual respect with them -Construct an implementation system to help yourself continuously go forward in growth mindset development, since it cannot happen overnight.

Additional Information
Educators are encouraged to participate in the free, private moderated discussion group for other teachers that have taken this class. The group is meant for discussion of ideas, implementation of results and tips from other teachers that have taught this unit in their classes. There is also a final exam at the end of the course in order to complete it and receive the certificate.
