General Program Information
Are you a music teacher who teaches choir or any type of singing? Did you major in voice or do you feel like your training in vocal pedagogy wasn't enough for what you need? This course is the culmination of over two decades of vocal teaching strategies in private, classroom and choral settings and breaks down all of the challenges that vocal teachers face, giving teaching, delivery and practice strategies for all of them.
Objectives
- Understand all contributing factors to tone development in student singers and how to teach them
- Receive strategies for teaching new repertoire with a comfortable pace
- Have a plan to help students through voice issues like vocal maturity, overuse, tension, care and more
- Get clarity on how to warm up your students in the best ways to benefit their development
- Acquire pedagogical strategies for other challenges like vocal expression, growth mindset, intonation and much, much more!
